Cuttack Central Co-operative Bank Ltd
The Cuttack Central Co-operative Bank Ltd., Cuttack was carved out of merger of four rest-while nucleus Banks namely Jajpur Co-operative Bank, Kujanga Co-operative Bank, Kendrapara Co-operative Bank and Cuttack Co-operative Bank in the year 1956 and came into existence on 22nd. Sept, 1956 and commenced formal Banking business w.e.f. 5th. October 1956.
The four above small independent Banks and their affiliates were in existence right from the beginning of 20th Century. The Bank and its affiliates had existed when there were no roads and bridges, no communication and conveyance and had served the people in neck-deep water, knee-deep mud with many adverse situations when no other Bank/financial institution existed and bank was a dream in rural areas and totally out of imagination of rural population. During the last 65 years, the Bank has witnessed many ups and downs and survived the ravages of time and continue to exist to serve the people.
